Alan Campbell MP has joined forces with blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan to raise awareness of the important work they do.

Every day, Anthony Nolan provides a service to the NHS by using their Stem Cell Donor Register to match potential donors to patients with blood cancers and blood disorders desperately in need of a stem cell transplant.

Alan Campbell said “Here in Tynemouth there are 915 potential lifesavers on the stem cell register and these incredible individuals give blood cancer patients a second chance.
