Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell today spoke at the opening of a new endoscopy unit at Rake Lane.

The brand new £2.5 million unit is now in purpose designed, fully-refurbished premises, giving patients access to some of the best facilities available in the NHS.

Alan Campbell MP said “I was pleased to attend the opening and to be asked to speak at the event.  This investment shows how important Rake Lane hospital is to local people and the importance of world class local services.  I will continue to do all I can to champion our local NHS and ensure local people have access to the best healthcare here in North Tyneside.”
