The vessel sank on the evening of the 8th and morning of the 9th of February 1974 in the Barents Sea.

All thirty-six crew members were lost. Among those lost were six from North Shields.

Today we remember all those who lost their lives, and join with the families, especially of the 6 North Shields Fishermen, in remembering. They will never be forgotten.
