Local MP recently went along to an event at the Dome to mark the end of the BayCreate Project.

The BayCreate Project was a partnership between Whitley Bay Big Local and Barnardos The BASE young people’s centre, which joined together local people of all ages come together to share thoughts, feelings and experiences of Whitley Bay and the local coastline.

Alan said “It was great to go along to this celebration event and see the glass art, sculptures, collage and painting done throughout the project.  What was especially nice was seeing local people of all ages working together on a project celebrating our area.  A big congratulations to everyone involved”.
