Alan Campbell MP recently joined Mary Glindon MP to meet with Paul Jones, the Director of Healthwatch North Tyneside.
Healthwatch North Tyneside is an independent champion of people using local health and social care services locally. They gather and represent the views of adults, young people and children living or using services in North Tyneside and want to know what’s working well and what needs to be changed.
Healthwatch North Tyneside is there to:
- help people find out about local health and social care services
- listen to what people think of services
- help improve the quality of services by letting those running services and the government know what people want from care
- encourage people running services to involve people in changes to care
Alan said “Healthwatch are currently seeking people’s views and I would urge local residents to partipate in their consultation.”
