Local MP Alan Campbell today officially opened Rockcliff Rugby Club’s new artificial grass pitch which has been made possible by an £800k investment by the RFU.

Alan Campbell MP said “I was delighted to officially open the pitch.  Over the last ten years Rockcliff has transformed, going from fielding just 2 men’s teams in 2006 to having over 400 young people playing rugby from U6s-U18s, three girls teams at U13-U18, and now four men’s teams.  I have always been pleased to support the club and this new pitch will cement Rockcliff as a community asset offering all-year round, all-weather playing facilities for rugby and other sports.”
