Alan Campbell MP today joined elected Mayor of North Tyneside Norma Redfearn at the opening of a new business based on Whitley Road.

Waffles and Cones, is a new cafe, bakery and ice cream parlour and forms part of the ongoing regeneration of the town.

Alan Campbell MP said “I am pleased to welcome Waffles and Cones to Whitley Bay.  The opening of so many small and independent businesses really show Whitley Bay is thriving.  I hope to welcome many more in the months and years ahead.”
