Local MP Alan Campbell recently joined  local residents at the celebrations of the 350th anniversary of Christ Church in North Shields.

The event was supported by the Backworth Male Voice Choir and also hosted North Tyneside Council’s Chairman’s Civic Sunday Service.

Alan said “I was honoured to be a part of the celebrations which will be ongoing throughout the year.  Christ Church really is a focal point of the local community.  Here’s to another 350 years.”
