Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell recently visited The Northumbria hospital in Cramlington to see how NHS staff at work in one of the country’s newest, and best performing, hospitals.

On a tour including the emergency department (ED), critical care, surgery, birthing centre and the newly opened library and medical education centre the MP was introduced to staff and given first-hand demonstrations of the latest technology.

Alan Campbell MP said “I was pleased to visit the Northumbria hospital to see at first-hand how the new facility is literally saving lives.  The state of the art equipment and the purpose built space allows staff to deliver the highest standards of professional healthcare.   I’d like to put on record my thanks to the staff for all that they do.”
