Local MP Alan Campbell today attended the opening of the Spanish City Dome in Whitley Bay.

Alan said “The opening of Whitley Bay’s iconic Dome was a historic day for Whitley Bay and marks an important milestone in the ongoing journey of coastal regeneration.

This project may have been a long time coming but is all the better for being a partnership between the local authority, residents and businesses.

I’d like to thank the elected Mayor Norma Redfearn who has been vital in making this a reality for visitors and residents alike.”
