Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell recently went to meet Bob Jeffrey, a local playwright who has written a new play based on the experience of veterans and PTSD.  Dragon premieres this evening at the Saville Exchange in North Shields and starts two local actors, Mickey McGregor who plays Tony, and Harriet Ghost who plays Katie.

Alan said “I know Bob has based the play on the real life experiences of veterans in Afghanistan and has spoken to many veterans as part of his research for the play.  It really is an important subject that we need to understand better.  I am sure that it will be a great success.”
