Alan Campbell MP is urging local people to have their say in a new consultation published by the Department for Transport that is seeking views on the Government’s Accessibility Action Plan.

The ambition of the plan is to ensure that people with physical and hidden disabilities have the same access to transport and opportunities to travel as everyone else.

Alan Campbell said “I welcome this consultation which is long overdue.  Disabled people have as much right to travel independently as anyone else.  I would urge anyone with a view to take part in the consultation.”
