Local MP Alan Campbell has attended the annual service to commemorate the Battle of Britain held at the War Memorial on the Links at Whitley Bay.

Alan Campbell said, ‘I want to thank RAFA members for organising this event. It was particularly good to see so many air cadets from the Whitley Bay ATC at the event.  We must always remember the debt we owe to those who served and those who gave their lives in the Battle of Britain.”
