I had a tour of the building and a meeting with a judiciary District Judge followed by the opportunity of sitting in open court to observe that day’s proceedings. It was interesting to see at first-hand the work of the court particularly the work involving welfare decisions. I employ a member of staff whose sole job is to advise on welfare benefits and who often attends the court in her role advising local residents.
