Parliament Week is an annual event which aims to increase awareness of the work of parliament and how democracy works.

It’s a great opportunity for people across the country, especially young people, to understand the relevance and impact of Parliament in our everyday lives.

There are lots of groups in Tynemouth taking part this year – from local community groups to schools and clubs like the Scouts and Guides.
