Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell recently visited the YMCA North Tyneside for their Founder’s Day event, celebrating 178 years since YMCA’s founding by George Williams.
Alan said “I had a tour around the building and saw first-hand some of the amazing things they are doing.
YMCA North Tyneside have always been an important part of our local area but in recent years they have gone from strength to strength. I was extremely impressed with the range and quality of the provision on offer in the building and I’d like to thank Dean and all the staff for the brilliant work they do.”
