Children will not go hungry in North Tyneside

Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell has welcomed the news that our Elected Mayor Norma Redfearn has made sure local children will not go hungry by extending free schools meals in the half-term and Christmas holidays.

Alan said “It’s disgraceful that Tory MP’s voted against extending school meals in Parliament and disgraceful that when they had the chance North Tyneside Tory Group voted against asking the Government for extra funding to help local communities during the period of restriction.
