A number of constituents have been in touch recently to draw my attention to problems accessing coronavirus testing.  Local people have been advised to travel to Galashiels, a 4 hour round trip.

The Health Secretary is clearly not on top of this and it is unacceptable that the Government’s incompetence is putting local people in our community at risk.

I have today written to the Health Secretary demanding further resources for our area as a matter of urgency.
