Alan Campbell MP for Tynemouth Community Commitment Common Sense

Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell tonight attended a concert at Wallsend Memorial Hall to mark the armistice which, in November 1918 marked the end of four years of bitter conflict.
The Northumbria World War One Project is an award winning community heritage project based on the war time experiences of North Tyneside communities.
Alan said “This project has really caught the imagination of local people but has also been recognised in Parliament and by the Imperial War Musuem as one of the best examples of highlighting the impact of war on a local community. I’d like to put on record my thanks to Alan Fidler and everyone involved int he project for their dedication and commitment.”
