Local MP Alan Campbell today went along to an event in parliament to show his support for the World Wildlife Federation’s ‘Earth Hour UK’.

WWF’s Earth Hour is the world’s biggest movement to protect our planet. Every year, millions of people take part in a big switch off event across the globe to show their support for action to protect the planet.

Alan Campbell MP said “It was good to meet with WWF ahead of Earth Hour UK which this year is on 24^th March.  I’m supporting WWF in their campaign to get the UK Government to show global leadership and support an international goal to rescue and restore nature. I’ll be taking part of 24^th March and I urge local people to do the same.”
