A group of A Level economics students from Whitley Bay High School visited Westminster today and joined local MP Alan Campbell on a tour of Parliament.

Mr Campbell also arranged for them to meet with Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer John McDonnell MP to discuss some of the challenges facing the British economy.

Alan Campbell MP said “It was a pleasure to host the group in Parliament.  This is the third time that Whitley Bay High School has organised the trip now and it’s always great to see how interested the students are in the workings of parliament.”
