Tynemouth MP Alan campbell has sought assurances over the future of the Post Office at Preston Grange.

The Preston Grange site closed last year due to ‘operational reasons’ and the MP has been working on behalf of residents to ensure local provision is increased.

Alan said “Post Office have indicated that it is their intention to restore local access to the area.  They have apologised for the lenght of time it is taking to find a replacement and assure me that they conitnue to seek one.  I wil lof course keep residents updated with any developments.”
