Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell recently joiend with North East MP’s and local fire bridgae representatives in Parliament to discuss proposed changes to Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service.

Alan said “In a recent debate in Parliament the Minister admitted that Tyne and Wear has faced the biggest government cuts to its fire service of any area in the country.  The proposed changes to the service are a direct result of those cuts.  I’ve told the government that the cuts are putting lives at risk.  To have your say, respond to the current consultation at https://www.twfire.gov.uk/about-us/contact/consultation/
