Alan Campbell MP joined Mayor Norma Redfearn and the Taiwanese Ambassador to the UK Marc Su, at an event organised by Northumbria School of English in Whitley Bay.

The school welcomed the group of Taiwanese youngsters as part of a cultural exchange that will see them performing at Seven Stories in Newcastle and at the Edinburgh Festival.

Alan Campbell said “I really enjoyed the performance by the youngsters who were very excited to be part of the trip.  I am also pleased for Christine Goodwin, whose Northumbria English School is developing an international reputation.”
