Have your say about future of local health services  27/01/2008

North of Tyne Primary Care Trust is soon holding a round of meetings to seek the views of local people about health services across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.

North Tyneside Primary Care Trust is holding their meeting on Tuesday 26 February 2pm to 4pm at Menzies Hotel, North Shields, NE28 9HP. Everybody who is a resident of the North Tyneside is welcome to attend.  Tea and coffee will be available half an hour before each meeting.

At these meetings the PCT will be sharing their plans for health services across North Tyneside for the next year.

Alan Campbell MP said ‘This is an opportunity to get involved in discussions about the short term future of our local health service and I urge my constituents to go along.  The PCT are very keen to seek your views about these plans, which range across all services and they will also be happy to answer any questions you may have’.

There will also be information available about how to access local services and about the special efforts taking place to make further improvements in hospital waiting times and to raise awareness about how we can work together to reduce infections such as MRSA and C.difficile.

If you would like to attend, or if you are a member of an organisation and would like someone else to attend, email Shirley Redgrave at Shirley.redgrave@northoftyne.nhs.uk or telephone her on (0191) 202 2023.
