Tynemouth Mp Alan Campbell has handed over new computer equipment to four local schools. The equipment was paid for from the Tesco Computers for Schools programme and Alan Campbell presented it to four local schools at the Tesco store in North Shields. Pupils from Priory School received a digital camera, King Edward pupils received software and Kings School pupils received a digital microscope. Southridge school will also receive new computer hardware.
Alan Campbell congratulated Tesco on its long running programme to support schools and said he was delighted that new equipment was going to benefit local schools.
