Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell has attended the formal opening of the newly modernised Rising Sun Country Park in North Tyneside.
The country park has been refurbished with money from One North East, the Regional Development Agency, and charities including Lloyds of London and Sita. The new facility was officially opened by the Duke of Northumberland.
Local MP Alan Campbell said, “This is an excellent local facility which will help to bring a better understanding of rural and urban life. I am delighted to see the new investment which will not only benefit my constituents but attract visitors from further afield”.
