Local MP Alan Campbell has presented awards to members of the Tynemouth Squadron of the Air Training Corps. After a parade held in Christ Church School on Saturday 12th July squadron members received awards in front of families and friends. Alan Campbell praised the success of Tynemouth Squadron, which is one of the most successful in the country. He said he was pleased to see the squadron doing so well in recent years and so many young people taking part.

Alan Campbell said:

”IT is an honour to have been asked to present the awards once again. These are talented young people who enjoy what they are doing and who their parents are clearly proud of. Not only do they act responsibly themselves but they work throughout the year to help others. We should all be proud of our local ARC Squadron.
